About Daily Watchwords
Moravian congregations around the world have a tradition of reading and meditating daily on the Scripture verses chosen for the day. These are called Daily Watchwords. This tradition of distributing the daily watchwords to all the Moravian brethren was started in 1722, and in 1731 the Daily Watchwords for the whole year was printed in book form, which continues to this day!
The Watchwords are translated into more than 50 languages and more than 1.5 million copies are printed every year!
The verse text in the Daily Watchwords for 2022 has either been translated into the literary Tibetan/Ladakhi or taken from the Tibetan Bible (1948), and the Tibetan New Testament (1968) published by UBS. The Daily Watchwords is available on this page for reading and downloading.
Please read the Daily Watchwords every day for your spiritual strengthening and to receive God's blessings.
Thank you.
